The Vermont Department of Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery reports that sports betting activity in November reached $7.903 billion, a 2790 percent increase from October’s $790 million. Revenue for the month was $221 million, a 94 percent rise from October’s $1.06 million. Football generated $6.2 million, basketball earned $5 million, tennis made $950,000, soccer brought in $16,162, and table tennis collected $576,349. From the overall bets, $13.8 million came from within the state, while $4.5 million came from outside the state. The count of active users from outside the state fell to 10,862, whereas the number of in-state users rose to 17,545 from 16,790 in October. The average bet rose to $23 from $21 compared to the previous month.
